Shoot it. Bet it doesnt come back ever again. How do you stop a chimpmunk from getting into your bird feeder?
the reason they get into your birdfeeder is because it can climb to get to it. so it your feeder is on a tree branch or ontop of a wooden post or something easily climbed, move it. buy a cone at either homedepot/lowes or your local petstore. both of those should sell them. these can stop rodents in their tracks, they will be forced down. a rod iron pole would work best because it wouldn't give the chipmunk much holding to climb up, and if it does, it wouldn't get past the cone. these should all work. good luck!
my grandmother has a perfect solution (has worked for 20 years) - you take a large metal tub (lets say 10 inch diameter, and 2 feet in length) with one end closed, just a hole for the birdfeeder pole to fit through. Put it on the pole, upside down, with the feeder above it. Chipmunks/squirrels will try climbing the pole and get stuck in the tube.
The chipmunks like the black sunflower seeds from the bird food. Buy cracked corn and millet based food that does not contain sunflower seeds and the chipmunks won't be interested in the birdfeeder.
Get an e-collar (The ones pets get from going to the vet) and put is over the bird feeder. The cone acts as a barrier while allowing the birds to feed.
Post a sign outside your birdfeeder that reads, ';No chipmunks';.
Chipmunks are hungry too, poor things!
Why dont they deserve to be fed too?
spray it with bug killer
