Where can I find a non-toxic food-safe sealant for a bird-feeder?

I need to seal a bird feeder that I painted. I was told that toxins can leach into the bird seed.

We use salad bowl finish. As you can tell by the name it is safe around food.Where can I find a non-toxic food-safe sealant for a bird-feeder?
Use DAP silicone sealant, It will not harm birds just let it dry which usually takes about four hours. After that you should be good to go with the bird feeders. I worked for the company that makes the sealant for DAP and it great stuff. I use it on all my sealing proplems.
