How do I get rid of raccons at my bird feeder?

Raccoons are nocturnal. Bring your feeders in before dusk. If that is not an option (if the feeders are mounted and not easily removed), clean out all remaining seed before dusk, and refill in the morning.

If there is no food source, they leave quickly. How do I get rid of raccons at my bird feeder?
i agree with buddy, the more animals the better.feed him separate but don't try to run it away. How do I get rid of raccons at my bird feeder?
Birds and mammals have different taste buds.

Birds do not have the ability to taste capsiacin, which makes peppers taste hot. As such , birds love hot peppers such as cayenne.

Mammals such as raccoons taste the hotness, and are usually repelled by it.

Farm stores will sometimes carry packets of capsiacin powder to add to your bird food to discourage squirrels and raccoons. IF you cant find that, then go to a grocery store or discount store which sells spices and buy several jars of crushed red hot peppers. Mix the powder or crushed peppers heavily into the bird food. Mammals should be driven away very quickly, while your birds will consider this a special treat!! :-)

Good Luck.
Why would you want to? Learn to love them too. The more animals that come to my yard to feed - the better.
