How can I advertise my bird feeder?

Its quite close to the house, about 2 metres away, hanging on a handmade bird table. No birds seem to visit it!! we're using scones with riasans, birdseed (sunflower seeds, and other thigns thats in it like peanuts) shreddies and bits of toast. How can we get birds to come pay us a visit?!How can I advertise my bird feeder?
Put it in a higher place away from predators. How can I advertise my bird feeder?
Birds aren't really scared of houses, so the location you have it in is fine. I would consider hanging it up in a tree, or a large bush instead of leaving it on a table. If it's up in a tree it's less flying they'd have to do then flying down to the table and then flying back up. I would only put birdseed inside of it. Too much stuff at one time could be too cluttered, and maybe even too messy.

Hope this helps!
Keep food there all the time, and fresh water. They will come when they feel safe. Perhaps you have cats wandering in your yard. That will make the birds fear coming there. Otherwise it just takes time. Ours are eating us out of house and home, and we are not offering scones!

Yours is very close to the house, but they will get used to it in a bit.
wait for summer time because most birds fly away for the winter... Your bird feeder sounds REALLY COOL !!!!!!! : D

spring is just around the corner so that will give you a chance to feed some birdies... make sure you look at the bird feeder every once in a while for mold and an empty bird feeder LOL

Hope this helps
you should probably keep it more far away from the house, or else the birds might get too scared or whatever other reason. Keep it around around your house, not too far, not too close. maybe put it somewhere shady and/or near trees. it should work.

hope it helps )
move it futher out--hey buy a humming bird feeder(love them)sugar water feed is real easy=1/4 cup sugar than fill to 8 oz water

they will be in my area may 8 to may 15 n leave about sep 15 trust me u will enjoy them
Put it somewhere they can see it close to your house thats where ours is and its very popular they all love it
Put an ad in the bird newspaper.
try thistle seed its black small seed. Or try oiled black sunflower seeds
If you've ever seen birds they like it high in a tree in a hidden spot
Try more expensive birdfeed....quit being cheap.
