yellow jackets are running humming birds away. sugar water is use for bird feed.Humming bird feeder also drawing yellow jacket any solution?
There are a lot of people complaining of Yellow Jackets,





Unfortunately they like sugar water as an extra source of food,if you can find there nest which could be nearby.spray some insect killer into it in an evening when they are not active and that could get rid of them short term,then do the same a few days later.

Unfortunately there has been an increase in Yellow Jackets this year....and they like sugar water.





You could try one of those U.V.insect zappers,that attract insects and zap them.





But make sure there is some distance away from the feeders so the birds don't get zapped.





So there ain't much chance of getting rid of them.
They do sell bee guards that keep bees and wasp from actually being able to get at the nectar.
