Is it bad to put a birdhouse near a bird feeder?

I want to put a birdhouse in near a bird feeder. I don't know much about birds so i'm wondering if putting the two close to each other might cause problems between the birds in the house and the birds at the feederIs it bad to put a birdhouse near a bird feeder?
Yes it would as birds can be quite territorial over their nesting site. The other birds visiting the feeder will disturb the nesting pair. So the bird house would not be used.
