have a hanging bird feeder hanging from a ole and squirrels are in it all the timeHow can I keep squirells out of my bird feeder?
Get a squirrel proof feeder or one of those bug hat looking baffles. Theres also an additive powder made from pepper that u can mix in the seed. Birds don't mind it but the squirrels hate it.How can I keep squirells out of my bird feeder?
buy a 6 pack of cheap soda in cans. this will get messy . punch a hole in bottom of can then another on top ecactly over bottom one, then threat the string through can, thread the can so it will be upside down when hung. stack them one on top of the other at least 3 cans high. then push them together tight together so a space cant be made in gaps and secure tight. they wont be able to get a grip on or between the cans and fall off.
You can't. I just changed the name of mine and call it a squirrel feeder. It is easier to keep the birds out.
You can grease the pole. The little guys can't climb a geased pole. If it's in a tree, sit on your favorite chair and use your pellet gun and blast a cap in their ***. Squirel stew is delicious.
hmmm I dont know. I have the same problem..hope somebody knows the answer to this one
Hey! They need to eat too. Be kind to ALL Gods creatures.
Put a old large funnel over the top of the feeder.Make sure its larger than the top of the feeder run the wire through it and get it to hang about 6'; over the feeder itself.(spout end up like the hat on the tin man) the squirrels can't get a grip on it and can't get around it without falling
