What is the recipe for your own humming bird feeder syrup?

Thanks for any answer and input...Happy Spring Everyone...What is the recipe for your own humming bird feeder syrup?
1 part sugar to 4 parts water (for example, 1/4 cup sugar and a cup of water). Boil the water, stir in the sugar. Cool the syrup before putting it in the feeder. Clean the feeder and replace the syrup in the feeder every 2 or 3 days. Do not add food coloring to the syrup!

We mix up a big batch and store it in our refrigerator. What is the recipe for your own humming bird feeder syrup?
I actually use more sugar than the previous users above me. I use two cups sugar to four cups water. I don't use red coloring anymore, one because I don't need to and two my feeder bottle is red. It's really not needed once they get used to coming to your feeder. Make sure you keep it clean, the feeders mold very quickly. Its best to have a toothbrush to clean around the drinking holes and a baby bottle brush to clean inside the bottle itself after you boil it. Always boil the bottle and drinking base before putting fresh juice in.
Enough water to fill the feeder

About 2 cups white sugar give or take

Red food coloring

Hummingbirds are attracted to the color red so make sure the water is a deep red. Also, the water needs to be sweet. If not sweet enough they'll ignore it.

Also, never use an artificial sweetener such as Equal or Splenda as they will kill the birds.
water and a tablespoon or 2 of sugar (depending on the size of the feeder). if its a new feeder, add a few drops of red foodcoloring too to attract them (if its an established feeder that already has had plenty of customers this isnt a necessity)
I put in one cup of sugar and 3 cups of water. ';They'; recommend 4 cups though';. The birds love it stronger but it's not good for them.

I clean the feeder with bleach and water. If you use any soap make sure you get it all out because they don't like the taste of soap.
4 cups boiling water, 1 cup sugar. Stir well. Let mixture cool down before refrigerating. I save a plastic juice bottle, with magic marker write bird food on it. This will last a few weeks
