How do I attract house finches to my bird feeder but not house sparrows?

WHta food or kind of feeder should I use? Thank UHow do I attract house finches to my bird feeder but not house sparrows?
Most likely if you get one, you'll get the other.


Though house finches will probably more readily eat the oily seeds (thistle, rape, hemp, flax, etc).


So if you get a mix that has more of these seeds you may attract more House Finches.
